Überlebensschule Tirol - We have been mentored by Tom Brown, Jon Young, Lived with Lakota Indians in Oregon. We are still mentored by this beautiful people. 3 years ago we decided to open up a Survival school here, in Austria. We have children and adults in our Courses. Last year we built the Ötzidorf (A little village which looks like the time from the iceman). We had 40.000 visitors last year. Those visitors and all the other people we teach the skills we learned over the years.

Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve - The Friends of Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve is a 20 year old volunteer organization which works to protect the preserve, assists the city and county rangers through such activities as leading interpretive walks, removing invasive exotics and replanting with natives, installing kiosks, coordinating scout projects such as building small bridges, installing interpretive signs, building and installing owl boxes, restoring trails. The Board meets monthly, and welcomes new volunteers in any capacity. We also do wildlife and other scientific surveys and studies, and other educational activities.
